Originally a Tamil film, Bharateeyudu also achieved great success in Telugu, becoming Kamal Haasan’s most significant blockbuster to date.
Now, nearly thirty years later, director Shankar and Kamal Haasan are collaborating on the sequel, Bharateeyudu 2. Since the announcement, the excitement surrounding the sequel has been immense.
The long wait is finally coming to an end, as Bharateeyudu 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 12, 2024. Promotional activities are already underway, with the first single set to be released on May 22.
In addition to Kamal Haasan, Bharateeyudu 2 boasts a stellar cast that includes Delhi Ganesh, Thambi Ramaiah, Gulshan Grover, Guru Somasundaram, Samuthirakani, Brahmanandam, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
The film’s music is composed by the prolific Anirudh Ravichander, one of the busiest composers in the industry.
