After a brief hiatus following the release of Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu in 2018, actor Nara Rohith has returned to the silver screen with a fresh outlook on script selection. Despite his knack for picking intriguing projects, a string of box-office misfires led him to reassess his choices, culminating in his latest film, Prathinidhi 2.
Released during a politically charged atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh, the film didn’t make a significant impact in theaters, garnering a lukewarm reception from audiences. Nara Rohith himself acknowledged this during the teaser launch of his upcoming project.
Now, after its modest theatrical run, Prathinidhi 2 is gearing up for its digital debut on the Aha Video platform, set to premiere on September 27, 2024.
The ensemble cast features Nara Rohith alongside Siri Lella, Dinesh Tej, Sapthagiri, Jisshu Sengupta, Sachin Khedekar, Thanikella Bharani, Indraja, Udaya Bhanu, Ajay Ghosh, Ajay, Praveen, Prudhvi Raj, Raghu Babu, and Raghu Karumanchi.
Directed by newcomer Murthy Devagupthapu, this political drama was produced by Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendranath Bollineni under the Vanara Entertainments and Rana Arts banners. The film’s technical crew includes Mahati Swara Sagar as the composer, Nani Chamidisetty as the cinematographer, and Raviteja Girijala as the editor.
